Josh Mathews, Coordinator for Leadership Education and Advising, is responsible for formulating and coordinating the logistics of programs that facilitate students’ development as leaders of character and capability. He serves as a member of the broader student and student group advising team, advising honorary and campus life recognized groups.

Tierra Fields, associate director for leadership programs, leads Campus Life leadership development programs for undergraduate students. Tierra is a Gallup-certified Strengths coach and enjoys helping students understand how their personal strengths enable them to lead with character and capability—all in the service of realizing their purpose and having a positive impact on their communities.

Julia Macias, director of student leader development, creates orientation programs, targeted leadership seminars and coaching opportunities. As associate dean for the Office of Scholar Programs, Julia oversaw the pilot programs developed for the Danforth, Ervin, and Rodriguez Scholars.
