On November 5, more than 20 students stepped into an interactive leadership experience like no other. In partnership with Adventures of Intrigue, the Bauer Leaders Academy hosted a custom escape room challenge that tested students’ collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills in real time.

Set on a tropical island where participants had to “appease the gods” to bring back the sun, the immersive storyline challenged teams to think strategically and communicate under pressure – all while having fun and connecting with new peers.
Throughout the evening, laughter, teamwork, and moments of discovery filled the room as groups raced to solve puzzles before the clock ran out. Dinner and conversation followed, giving students time to reflect on their experience and share insights on how the skills they used – communication, leadership, and adaptability – translate into everyday life.
This event marked another opportunity for students to engage with leadership development in action, proving that growth often happens when you step outside your comfort zone.
